The short version. Your health and roster data are yours. They are used only to compute your readiness and coach you — never sold, and never shared with your airline, employer, or any third party for their benefit. Any airline-facing analytics are anonymous aggregates only.

Who we are

Crewlife is a readiness and lifestyle app for aviation crew, operated by HartAI. Contact: support@crewlife.ai.

The waitlist & this website

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address (and an optional first name) so we can send you launch updates and your founding-crew invite. This is double opt-in — we email you to confirm before adding you. We store it on managed EU cloud infrastructure, we never sell it, and you can unsubscribe any time via the link in every email, or by emailing support@crewlife.ai. If you arrive through a crew member's invite link, we record who referred you so that you both receive your founding-crew months.

The "Try it" readiness demo on this site runs entirely in your browser — the report time, sleep and route you enter are used to calculate a sample plan on your device and are not sent to or stored by us.

What the app collects

Account — your email address and a securely hashed password.
Health & wearable data — heart rate, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep and steps, read from Apple Health / Health Connect only with your explicit permission, to compute your readiness score.
Roster — the duties/flights you add or import (times, origin, destination).
Location — used once, in the moment to find nearby supermarkets or gyms when you ask. Your coordinates are processed and immediately discarded; we do not store a location history.
Coach messages & photos — the questions you send the coach, and any menu or gym photo you choose to upload, so it can answer.

How we use it

Compute your readiness and build your timed plan around your roster.
Power the AI coach and its menu / workout / nearby features.
Maintain your account, streaks and (opt-in) crew social features.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

The AI coach

To answer you, your message (and any photo you upload) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to generate a response. We do not store chat transcripts on our servers, and the provider does not use API content to train its models. The coach gives lifestyle and timing guidance only — it does not provide medical advice, doses, or any fitness-to-fly assessment.

Your airline never sees your data

Individual health, sleep, readiness and roster data are private to your account, enforced at the database level. Any organisation- or airline-facing analytics are limited to k-anonymous aggregates (never fewer than five people) and never include an identifiable individual's health data.

Cookies & analytics

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't profile you or follow you across other sites. For visitor statistics we use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first, EU-hosted tool that is cookieless and stores no personal data or cross-site identifiers. It counts page views and aggregate events (like "joined the waitlist") without knowing who you are. Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie wall — you can use the site freely. Any strictly necessary cookies exist only to make the site function and never track you.

Storage & security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (EU region) with encryption in transit. Access is scoped per user; your account can only reach its own records.

Your choices & rights

Grant or revoke Health/Location/Camera permissions any time in your device settings.
Request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account and data, by emailing support@crewlife.ai.
Social discoverability is off by default and opt-in.

Children

Crewlife is for working aviation crew and is not intended for anyone under 16.
